At Switchback, we want you to find your fit and let your individuality shine. We’re ready to tackle all of the customization, alteration and light modification you can think of. We’ll add pockets, cinch straps, webbing, buckles, stash spots, or whatever else you dream up. This is the space where flair meets function.
We get it. Sometimes our favorite gear is beyond repair. The unsalvageable stuff is sometimes the hardest to get rid of. Nostalgia takes over and we just can’t imagine a life without that funky graphic tee we scored in some dingy old thrift store on the Oregon coast. Good news is that it doesn’t have to go. At Switchback, some of our favorite projects involve giving your old stuff a new life. If it’s good, useable fabric, the possibilities are endless.
We offer a wide range of services including zipper sliders and full zipper replacements, sewn patches, seam taping, hardware, webbing, velcro, snaps, grommets, seam stitching, and other mending. All of these services are offered for a wide range of gear including jackets, pants, hardshell, softshell, packs, sleeping bags, tents, base layers and other soft goods. Pricing is project-dependent. An estimate will be provided after initial inquiry and final cost will be determined after receipt of item. Please allow up to two weeks turnaround for most repair projects. Lead times will vary.
